Training
At Pillar Induction we pride ourselves on our commitment to our customers and helping them improve the performance of their equipment. Pillar Induction training programs are designed to provide our customers with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to diagnose and troubleshoot our specialized line of induction heating and melting power supplies.
We offer several levels of training to allow our customers to determine which level(s) of training are best for their personnel. We can provide training on-site or at our Brookfield, WI headquarters.
Level 1 Training for Operators (Basic)
- 1/2 Day Class
- Instruct personnel in use and operation of induction equipment
- Demonstrate interlocks and safety devices
- Class Size: 3 Student Minimum
Level 2 Training for Maintenance Personel (Maintenance)
- 1 Day Class
- Instruct personnel in use and operation of induction equipment
- Demonstrate interlocks and safety devices
- Location, description, and testing of power components and fuses with multi-meter
- Preventative maintenance
- Procedures and intervals
- Class Size: 3 Student Minimum, 5 Student Maximum
Level 3 Training for Maintenance Technicians
- 2 Day Class
- Instruct personnel in use and operation of induction equipment
- Demonstrate interlocks and safety devices
- Location, description, and testing of power components and fuses with multi-meter
- Preventative maintenance
- Procedures and intervals
- Theory of power supply and control board operation
- Trouble-shooting using an oscilloscope and factory-supplied testing procedures
- Class Size: 3 Student Minimum, 5 Student Maximum
Classes are available for the following Power Supplies:MK-6, MK-6s, MK-7, MK-7s, MK-8, MK-11, MK-15, MK-17, MK-18, MK-20, MK-25, MK-30, and RF

Maintenance
Whether you need immediate emergency response to repair a system fault or if you are looking for regularly scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM), Pillar Induction can provide you with factory-trained technicians. The PM programs offer our customers the opportunity to have our technicians come to your site to perform routine maintenance to keep the induction systems operating at optimal efficiencies.
